Esper Wizard #6 Posted May 19, 2005 I have another question about the Krokodile Cart. Based upon the thread here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=58439 it seems you can only save games of one bankswitching type at a time. Am I wrong? Or can you mix and match cartridges from all the different (supported) bankswitching methods in the same "save"? The cartridge won't be nearly as "useful" if I have to save it once to play Circus Atari, save it again to play Beamrider, and save it again to play Midnight Magic. +SpiceWare #7 Posted May 19, 2005 2K and 4K games can be loaded in ANY of the bankswitching multicarts. The download is also very fast so switching between multicart images isn't an issue.
Esper Wizard #8 Posted May 21, 2005 2K and 4K games can be loaded in ANY of the bankswitching multicarts. The download is also very fast so switching between multicart images isn't an issue. 858092 After studying the document here: http://www.tripoint.org/kevtris/files/sizes.txt most games are not bankswitched. And of the games that are, the most common bankswitching method by far is F8. So it seems I will be able to burn an image with non-bankswitched and F8 games, which will meet most of my needs. I can always buy the only three other games I want to play, namely, Decathlon, Midnight Magic, and Pitfall II, if I don't want to burn the cartridge again. And yes, I already knew Pitfall II was not supported by the Krokodile Cart because of its custom chip. Thanks SpiceWare!

Kroko #10 Posted May 27, 2005 any eta on the croc cart availabilty??? 862329 No, unfortunately not. But I will let you know as soon as I know it. Meanwhile you can ask Albert to set you on the waiting list. This helps me to find out how much demand there is.
82-T/A #11 Posted May 28, 2005 Who is Albert and how can I contact him? I tried buying one about 3-4 months ago, but there were none in stock and I was told that the guy who made them was putting it on hold until he could produce more. (He said he wanted to fill the orders he had before he comitted to more without knowing if he could fill them). I actually went to the store looking for it this morning... when I didn't see it, I went ahead and bought Protector SE and a bunch of other Atari Jaguar stuff instead... I'd really like to get one, where / how can I put myself on the waiting list? Thanks!

You can get it here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...pic=62843&st=66 Numerous other games have been converted and were posted earlier in this same thread.
