Is it still valuable if the game doesn't work?

It probably works, it's just not playable without the KidVid and cassettes. (It just sits there on the title screen)

I pointed it out because I've seen several of the cart-only auctions sell for (in my opinion) "silly money" and figured someone here was a silly-money type.

SSTD doesn't go for much these days. I've picked up 2 this year, both under $20. (Cart only of course)

 

I posted a decent BIN with the cassettes and manual earlier -- I'd rather get that if I had the "silly money." :-)
