Perfect Breakout??

Since Breakout ends after the second wall, there must be a perfect score, right? What is it?

Mmmmm I can't remember. Havent played in many moons. I think it was two thousand something? I remember the easiest way to clear the screens is to play Breakthru (where the ball keeps on going thru the wall until it hits the other side before it comes back) and play with steer-able balls.

According to the Breakout manual, the maximum you can score in a game is 864. However, with the timed games who knows what the best (lowest) score might be. If someone wants to take a screenshot of Breakout with both walls obliterated, I'll add it to the Breakout screenshots. When we were initially setting up AtariAge, I didn't play each game very long when I was taking screenshots.
