Trade-N-Games #1 Posted May 27, 2005 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8192929125&rd=1 Ok I think this is an Atari 2600 game but seller says its Colecovision? Now whats weird about this is the price! whats going on? Take a look at some of the other games this seller had most went way to high IMO.
Colecovision #2 Posted May 27, 2005 (edited) I'm new at collecting colecovision games. Some games sell for crazy prices. Example a double ender game like this can sell between $30 or $100 ++ depending of the condition. Boxed games can bump the price a lot. It's all about the labels and boxes. Mindfield #3 Posted May 27, 2005 Oddly enough CV Xonox carts sometimes go for absurd prices (and almost always for about double what the Atari counterparts go for). I think this is the highest I've ever seen one go though. Throwdini strikes again...
holygrailvideogames.com #4 Posted May 27, 2005 This is one of the rarer Colecovision games. I still need this for my collection.
Trade-N-Games #5 Posted May 27, 2005 This is one of the rarer Colecovision games. I still need this for my collection. 862750[/snapback] I looked threw my DP guide and Video Game Collector and my list and I think this is not a Colecovision game. I know there is a single ender of both games for colecovision but I thought there was only 1 double ender cart for colecovision? I took a picture of my 2 Atari versions. The cart on left is my PAL version and the right one is my NTSC.
Mindfield #6 Posted May 27, 2005 It was released for Colecovision; I had it at one time over a year ago. Oddly enough, the label does say Colecovision (it's too long and contiguous to say "Atari 2600") but the cart shape looks like a 2600. Probably the angle... Mindfield #8 Posted May 27, 2005 (edited) There are 3 CV double-enders: Chuck Norris/Artillery Duel, Sir Lancelot/Robin Hood, and Motocross Racer/Tomarc the Barbarian . I had the first two but never managed to get my hands on the last -- that one's the rarest of the lot (rated R9 by DP; even SL/RH is only an R6 by DP standards) Edited May 27, 2005 by Mindfield
mumbai #9 Posted May 27, 2005 Ok I think this is an Atari 2600 game but seller says its Colecovision? Now whats weird about this is the price! whats going on? Take a look at some of the other games this seller had most went way to high IMO. There were *three* (not two, or one, as has been indicated above) XonoX double-enders released for the ColecoVision. Two of the three (Lancelot/R.Hood and Tomarc/Motocross) are absurdly hard to find, and are in all likelihood the two rarest "regular release" titles for the CV. In a "good" year, you're likely to run across two or so copies of either, at most. DigitPress puts values on them in the $150 ballpark, but by my estimation, that is actually a bit low for either in decent shape. $150 for Lancelot/R.Hood in sound state? As far as I'm concerned, that would be a no-brainer buy. I can say with certainty that this isn't the most a copy of this game has fetched on eBay by any stretch. Given bidder interest in this particular auction, it's clearly hanging out in the neighborhood of $125, at the least. I would also add that it's nowhere near the high-water mark for a single-game ColecoVision sale in the past few years on eBay. Heck, a pair of CGE Atarisoft rereleases just went for ~$175 each last weekend...

mumbai #11 Posted May 27, 2005 That one [Tomarc/Motocross is] the rarest of the lot (rated R9 by DP; even SL/RH is only an R6 by DP standards) If the DP has SL/RH at R6, they're just plain wrong. I've actually seen slightly more copies of Tomarc/Motocross than Lancelot/Hood in the past few years. Checking the DP online rarity guide, I see that Lancelot/Hood is rated R9 along with Tomarc/Motocross ... which pretty much matches up with my personal experience. Don't mean to be a booster, but an R6 it's not.
SimonTemplar #12 Posted May 27, 2005 152$ is actually a good price for RH/SL in that great condition. Also the seller has an exceptionnal feedback rating. MR/TB is the rarest double ender selling for about 210-260$ depending on condition. It is the rarest to find colecovision item. The box and manuals for this item are rarer than the atari version, in fact, I have never heard of anyone anywhere who claimed to have them in their collection. CN/AD is the common double-ender of the three and rarely sells for more that 40$ even in the best of circumstances.

The box and manuals for this item are rarer than the atari version, in fact, I have never heard of anyone anywhere who claimed to have them in their collection. I'll then make that claim for my own collection. I believe that Will Berdan could probably also make that claim. CN/AD is the common double-ender of the three and rarely sells for more that 40$ even in the best of circumstances. I'd actually peg it at $60 in the best of circumstances these days, with $40 as the minimum -- though from how I've seen it perform on eBay the last couple years, if I were selling one, I wouldn't count on the $60 end of that scale. mumbai #15 Posted May 27, 2005 What about this one? http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...RK:MEWA:IT&rd=1 What about it? The above-mentioned prices were for just the cart, not complete in box. Last year, there was only one CN/AD complete listed on eBay (to my knowledge). Draw your own conclusions ... ?
SimonTemplar #16 Posted May 28, 2005 I guess I should put this seller`s name in my favorite seller`s list. He seems to have very cool stuff in his auctions
