DeV0 #1 Posted May 31, 2005 Does anyone have a list or a link to a list of ps2 exclusive releases? I just got a slimline and am building a collection for it. I also have an Xbox and as a rule if a release is on both i'll get the xbox version. I did a google which didn't help at all, alot of fanboy links about GTA and soul calibur 3. Any help would be great or any recomendations of PS2 only releases,

DeV0 #4 Posted June 1, 2005 By exclusive i mean PS2 only, Love rez but got it on the dreamcast. Thanks for your list though, I have played silent hill 1,2 & 4 so now i can fill the gap with 3. I bought ICO for a few dollars, really nice title. I got my hands on Viewtiful joe today, allthough i do have a gamecube. So what about wipeout fusion?? theres an ex rental copy for $9.
cimerians #5 Posted June 1, 2005 Oh...I wasn't counting past systems like Dreamcast. (Excellent system too bad it died so fast). I like the Wipeout games but strangely I've never played the PS2 version. I might buy it if its only $9.99.

The Sage of Sega #11 Posted June 8, 2005 Here are some games which are only available on the PS2 in terms of consoles (they're all originally PC games); Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force Giants: Citizen Kabuto MDK2 Armageddon Half-Life Quake III Revolution Unreal Tournament Oni Rune Viking Warlord I wrote a big ol' article about these kind of ports. Also, good job getting Viewtiful Joe for PS2 (if you beat the game, you get to play as Dante from Devil May Cry!)
JB #12 Posted June 8, 2005 Robot Alchemic Drive. I love this game. R-Type Final. C'mon, it's R-Type. I've heard Gradius 5 fixes my long-standing issues with the series, so here it is.
SteveW #13 Posted June 8, 2005 Robot Alchemic Drive. I love this game. 870568[/snapback] That was one of the first games I bought when I got a PS2. I never really played it too much, though. I was hoping it would be a giant robot game along the lines of the Iron Soldier game series on the Jaguar and Nuon. But in play, the whole thing just felt clunky, and it didn't really inspire me to play too far into it. It just didn't seem like fun to me.

Sure it's clunky, and the "camera" is an abomination, but it's just so gosh darn CREATIVE in it's clunkiness.
