StanJr #1 Posted February 19, 2002 I love Mr. Do! I know Coleco made the stinker games for the VCS, but this one is actually awesome. Here's a trick: You can leave the little ball weapon stuck in the orchard wall while you go about yer business. Approach and unexplored section of the orchard. As you are about to run into it, press the button to release the ball and at the same time, push the joystick in the opposite direction. The ball will remain stuck in the orchard wall until you come back and get it or until a monster runs into it and perishes. Not always the most useful thing to disarm yourself, but it sure is a fun trick! Mr. Stan
moycon #2 Posted February 19, 2002 Whew!! I was afraid to open this thread. At first I was like.... "I had no idea cute Mr Do! was that type of person." Then I was wondering why the board didn't edit the topic (ie: Mr Do! **** trick) but now I get it. Great find Stan Jr. I actually just bought Mr Do off Ebay yesterday. (again) I will be sure to stick my ball into the orchard wall. BTW when the monster runs into Mr Do's ball does he eat it?? or just die from touching Mr Do's ball? and will I die if I touch my own ball? Damn I godda get that game again! Horax #3 Posted February 20, 2002 Hmm.... this maybe a bit off topic, but i always enjoyed playing Mr.Do! and Mr.Do!´s Castle on the C64. So what about the 2600-version?!! How good is it??!! I thought about getting it but as i never played the 2600-Version i´m not sure if i should grab it or not....

StanJr #5 Posted February 20, 2002 I love Mr. Do! for the VCS. Its one of my fav games. I'd say it is VERY faithful to the arcade. And fear not moycon, while the monsters do perish from contact with Mr. Do!'s ball, you are safe, for his ball is glowing. If yours behaves in a similar way you have bigger problems.
