bergbros #1 Posted February 20, 2002 I always thought Imagic made solid games and had slick production values and nice looking carts. Their instruction manuals were also well designed. The games were challenging and the graphics were good for the 2600, second only to Activision as a whole. The best game was Moonsweeper, the Solaris look alike. A second was Dragonfire. I like most of them, Riddle of the Sphynx, Atlantis, Laser Gates (did anyone ever complete that game) I don't remember any truly bad games. Maybe Firefighter. Heck, I thought the cover art was phenomenal.
moycon #2 Posted February 20, 2002 I second everything bergbros just said. I'll add I loved the fact that the ark would show up from game to game. At the end of Atlantis it rises up from the destroyed city....And then I assume it's off to outer space to shoot asteroids and collect animals!!!! (Where are these peoples priorities!? Perhaps they were going to EAT the captured animals!!!!!) Any other Imagic games have the ark in them???
Osmeroid #3 Posted February 20, 2002 I've always loved Imagic games for all of the above reasons. Wing War & Subterranea are my present faves though. I'd stil like to see a complete version of Sky Patrol someday...

I don't remember were I heard it but Atlantis and Cosmic Ark were supposed to be related through that ark somehow. Now if I can only remember that source... Ah! Found it here: http://www.atariage.com/manual_html_page.h...?SoftwareID=835 All the way at the bottom, which is the back cover of the actual manual. ATARIPITBULL #6 Posted February 20, 2002 I have always though that Imagic games were great and looked great but I think there are just as good if not better than Activision in terms of looks.
