ttony_at #1 Posted June 7, 2005 I have an Intellivision (model 2609) not working properly. I cleaned the game contacts for the cartridge and inside but it's still having problems. With the so few games I have (listed below), I don't know if it's worth fixing. The problem began suddenly. This is what happens. Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: I can get pass the map area and then travel around a little until the game freezes. Armor Battle: As soon as the game appears at least one tank is already damaged and the game doesn't reset. Astrosmash: game plays. But if I do a lot of moving and shooting it crashes. So I must pick my targets very carefuly. Auto Racing: same as Armor Battle. Pitfall: This is the only game that's good enough. The only glitchs are the opening and closing pits and the alligators mouths that move too slowly. It takes about a minute for the pits and the alligator's mouth to open-close. NintendoDieScreaming #2 Posted June 8, 2005 That's... ...uh... ...weird. To be honest, I think I'd just get a new Intellivision. Something's not reading properly.
Famicoman #3 Posted June 8, 2005 Yeah, I've never hear of something like that.

Lord Thag #5 Posted June 9, 2005 You may have a bent or dirty pin in the cart slot. You might want to do a good, thourough cleaning of the slot and contacts before you buy a new intellivision. If it turns out to be the system, I think I have a couple of spare systems. PM me if you are interested. Oh, and yes, it's worth fixing/replacing. AD&D alone is worth the price of admission.
