Anyone know where to buy repro Vectrex overlays?

Just like the title says, I'm looking for a full set of Vectrex overlays, preferably reproductions since they'll be cheaper. There was one guy who used to sell them on Earthlink, but his page is gone. Anyone know where I might get some?

I would be interested as well. I know that someone sold a whole bunch of the reproduction overlays recently on eBay. Maybe someone will start to make them again. It is really hard to find overlays in good condition anymore.

You're welcome. Yeah, I've never contacted the guy before. I was just looking into it because I'm really thinking of collecting Vectrex.

Save yourselves some money. Go download the overlay scans, there are several sites with them zipped. Then, take them down to office max, kinkos or whatever and have them printed on a transparancy. Make sure you have the measurements from the front of your vectrex, so they print them the right size. Cut the extra transparancy off and voila! Instant overlay. You van even tape off the clear parts and use white spray paint on the back if you really want to get anal. I made a whole set for under $10 and they work perfectly!

Are they flimsy Thag?

 

Most of the transparancy sheeting I've seen have been paper thin. Any problems with them sagging down, or do you have to sctoch tape them to it?

 

 

I think Sunmark also made mention of possibly making a run of these eventually as well. No time frame though Mark does a good job, with all the 8-bit titles & 2600 stuff I've purchased, they've always looked top notch. Quality stuffs.

I don't think he's making them anymore. That site hasn't been updated in 3 years.
