There is a slight problem though with the fellow they are speaking with. He isn't playing Pac-Man. He is playing Ms. Pac-Man. You can see it in the tabletop.

 

Ms. Pac-Man's first board is 14,600. Original Pac-Man's first board is 14,800.

 

Ms. Pac-Man's strawberry is 200. Original Pac-Man's strawberry is 300.

 

I don't recall if I'm thinking of the correct article now, but didn't it also say that Pac-Mania was soon to be released? That game has been around for quite a while now.
