Hello everyone! I've been reading on here for a little while. I just recently joined. I've been a fan of Atari for awhile. The last few months have been rough for me because my Dad was diagnosed with Bladder and Prostate Cancer and he's still taking radiation treatment. I've been wanting to post here and ask all you Jag and 2600 fans something.

 

First off, a few years ago, a friend of mine gave me a bunch of 2600 carts and a few Jag carts. The 2600 carts were mostly common ones like Missle Command, Frogger, Asteroids, etc. The Jag carts were common as well. Oddly enough, he didn't have systems to go with them. I had started looking for both the 2600 and the Jaguar then times got rough. I kind of put it on the back burner. Back when I could afford to buy a system, I had actually found a Jaguar at a flea market, but some guy beat me to it by 5 seconds. :-( I wanted to be up front with everyone. I was wondering if anyone here had a spare 2600 and/or a spare Jaguar? I don't want any games, just the systems to run the carts I have. You wonder why I don't go to eBay. Mainly because due to medical bills I'm helping pay for as far as my Dad is concerned and the rest goes for other bills and groceries.

 

I don't know how many people here have older Macs (like the Mac SE, Classic, Color Classic, etc.) here, but I do have 2 burned CD's FILLED with tons of old Mac apps, every Mac update you can think of and every version of System Software from .097 (first Finder for the 128k) up till 7.5.5. I would be willing to give anyone these CD's in a trade. I wanted to offer this because I don't want anyone to think I want it for nothing. That's the only thing I could think of that could be potentially useful for someone. I'm sorry I don't have any Atari stuff to offer. :-(

 

I do have screenshots of what's on these CD's if anyone would like to see them. Please email me at [email protected] if you'd like to see them or if you would like to ask any other questions. I figure that someone has a spare 2600 (doesn't matter what kind), but it would probably be unlikely that someone would have a spare Jaguar. I just figured I'd shoot this out. I'd really appreciate whatever anyone could do. :-)
