+legeek #1 Posted February 28, 2002 Howdy all, I noticed a Cubicolor for auction on eBay and as a previous owner of one, it appears legit, but way out of my price range... http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?V...item=1334842202 Just FYI... le geek

Scott Stilphen #4 Posted February 28, 2002 Didn't one sell on Ebay a few years ago for about $1K?
Cassidy Nolen #5 Posted February 28, 2002 Vegas CGE Auction one went 540, IIRC. Fulop was there, so I guess you could get it signed? Neat. Little too much for my tastes, but not outrageous. Have you seen a Computer Space on ebay before? Cassidy
MoonlightKnight #6 Posted March 1, 2002 Wow. Anyone looked at this one lately? Bloatedmonkey (a member of this board for anyone who didn't know that) has the top bid right now. Over $500.... now that's a chuck of change! And I thought I went overboard on Waterworld...
jsoper #7 Posted March 1, 2002 I'm predicting Buyatari will jump in at the last minute with a gazillion dollar bid and take it. He got the CGE one, but buys doubles as tradebait to get equally rare stuff. Glad I'm not trying for a full 2600 collection John

Cassidy yes, on ebay.de a computer space was sold for only 7$, but all inner parts (boards-monitor, ...) were missing still, that was a hot occasion to start building one again ... +legeek #9 Posted March 1, 2002 Just FYI, ALL Cubicolors were signed by Rob Fulop... Cheers, le geek
bloatedmonkey #10 Posted March 1, 2002 Well, it looks like I have a Cubicolor now. It's alot of money, but you only live once. If it turns out to be fake, you'll hear me crying from miles away. The only thing that bugged me is that 3 of the bidders had "wolf" in their name....maybe suspicious but I won't complain.
King Asmo #11 Posted March 1, 2002 Nice buy! I thought it would go for more.. he probably could have got more for it if he sold it at a time when people had more money. I think the "wolf" thing might just be a coincedence.. tho an odd one.
