23 days later and still no item

Recommended Posts

I won this auction over 3 weeks ago and it still is not here. The seller hasn't been very easy to get in touch with. I have sent him several emails and I have only received one back stating that he was finally going to ship this last Thursday. I really thought that considering how late that he was to ship it in the first place that he would have shipped it priority. He has been selling games for a long time on eBay and I know that many of you have dealt with him. Is this pretty typical for this seller? If I didn't know his eBay name I would have filed a complaint with PayPal considering it has been over 3 weeks.

I have never personally dealt with this individual, but I would be one pissed off mo-fo if after 23 days I still had not recieved my merchandise!!! :x :x :x

For my clients, I make every effort to ship out the very next day after payment is recieved. The latest I have ever shipped anything out is 48 hours after payment posted. He is a truly sorry ass seller for taking so long on your merchandise. In a situation like this, the very BEST feedback you should leave for this fool is a neutral, with alot of warnings about the exceedingly long ship times. If shipping to you takes much longer than this, go with a negative and report him.

I feel for ya. It's looking like I got screwed on this deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=8182950665

Coming up on 3 months and still nothing. He went NARU not long after I won the auction. I got an email from him on May 10th apologizing for the delay and that he would ship that week.

Worse yet, a member here - bark40oz, has had $275 of my money for a Pepsi Invaders since mid-March and still hasn't sent me anything. He stopped posting in April, won't reply to PMs and there's never an answer when I call.

That seller used to post here.

I've actually had a couple of deals with them, and they all worked out very well.

I believe he tried to sell me some games as well. I'm glad I didn't bother, now that I've read about this.

I hope that you atleast attempted a chargeback for those items. That is way too much money for someone to just take and not send out the item. I would think that jail time would be appropriate.

The $275 is probably up in smoke, as CPU said. It was a money order and the post office requires I wait 90 days (I believe) before taking the only action I have - filling out a form to check if it's been endorsed or not. I'll only get a refund if it wasn't. Oh, and calling bark40oz again last night now gives me a disconnected number recording.

The auction was Paypal, but I never knew Ebay and Paypal give you so little time to act! I've never had a problem through them before, and have had stuff take 40+ days to arrive anyway from some countries. This guy's not an ebay member anymore, so they're not going to help, but I'll see if there's anything Paypal can do.

Musta used Santa Claus express or something.

We've got a deadbeat seller on Yahoo right now. Been only a month and a couple weeks though. Of course no replies to any Emails and payment was via Money Order.

Isn't this fun?

I'm glad they came through Superman! I don't think I would leave positive feedback though, lol. :ponder: But at least hopefully the stuff was as listed and in good shape since it was a good chunk of $.

I ended up winning some stuff from that guy the same night as you won your auction. It was a pretty good lot, but he gave me a full refund. Said something about being unable to get it through customs....

That's bunk. I've never had any customs issues with the US -- in fact, other than filling out the customs form, shipping to the US absolutely no different from shipping within Canada, and you guys don't have to pay customs fees so it's even easier on your end.

Yeah, that's a pretty piss poor excuse. They're just video game carts, what the heck could be the problem "getting them through customs"? I have never had to pay any customs fees, or have to pick up a package from customs, or any silliness like that, and I have received hundreds of international packages over the years.

Yeah, this guy is just a deadbeat, that's all. I harassed him with emails every few days over this mess with no reply. But then I did a little snooping and I think I found an address for him. I reported him to the IFCC, then told him about it, and that I was also gonna look him up (I was going to be in Toronto on other business anyway). The package I got was posted the day after that email. :D

I hate people like that. I've had numerous packages where I had to harrass the seller repeatedly until they replied "Yeah, it was shipped a while ago" -- and arrives a week later with a date stamp the same day or day after the last E-Mail.
