After we finshed playing I was looking on eBay.de and found this: Boing Atari VCS 2600 Cartridge What do you think, 25 Euro (US$ 21.73) for this Rare game. Maybe this is PAL, but I never see this before on german ebay. So the PAL version is same Rare as NTSC. Sorry for all who came to late in germany. jahfish #5 Posted March 1, 2002 yeah, just remember these are only copies made in asia while he's probably been there .... the real patches are printed, while those are completely sewed, which sounds better first, but you loose all details and after all they are just copies. so i wouldn't spend more than 10$ on those ... i have two of those ... didn't want to get more .... i got them in a trade with somebody else, but he also got them from the same source. he recently sent me a pict of a stelly CD (more to have it in my pic collection) and i had to send him a scan of some of my patches in xchange. i guess those will be on ebay too, after his next journey in thailand .... he asked me for another scan, as one of the packaging wasn't completly on the pict. i thought that's a bit too much, if he even plans to fake the packaging .... i think it's usefull to do modifications, offer rebuilt units or joysticks, have pal or ntsc modifications, have new homebrew games, have "relaunched" games like SA, combat 2 or the best games/protos .... i am surely not a purist .... but i think it sucks to copy old memorabilia .... They are not real from Atari? @!#[email protected], but the Dolphin Patch looks so great, this is no probleme. But all others are bad. Then I have pay to much for these.
