AlexKIDD #1 Posted July 3, 2005 Just wondering, does the turbo duo use the same power supply and/or rf switch as the regular turbo grafx? If it does i'm going to pick up one of those system-only duos on ebay.
christianscott27 #2 Posted July 3, 2005 nope, its a totally different set of hook-ups - different A/V, power and controllers. you might be able to sub something for the power but the A/V out cable is pretty strange.
video game addict #3 Posted July 3, 2005 AV out cable is actually pretty common. It's a DIN connector, found on Neo Geo, Sega Genesis & SMS, Commodore 64 & Vic-20, Atari XLs, & TI-99s. Probably others as well. Easy to make a replacement or pick something up off ebay that will work with it.

video game addict #5 Posted July 3, 2005 AV cables are available but they came stock with cheesy rf switches.
Jess Ragan #6 Posted July 4, 2005 Anyone know what AC adapter the Amiga CD32 uses? I haven't been able to play mine yet because I don't have an adapter for it, and can't find one. JR
AlexKIDD #7 Posted July 4, 2005 Anyone know what AC adapter the Amiga CD32 uses? I haven't been able to play mine yet because I don't have an adapter for it, and can't find one. JR 885451[/snapback] I just did a search on it and it seems they originally came with 45 watt power supplies but now you can buy an adapter for it so you can use any 200-300 watt power supply. Jess Ragan #8 Posted July 4, 2005 Thanks. I'll have to do a little research of my own for the specifics. JR
