Lord Helmet #4 Posted July 9, 2005 OK, I'm dumb...what is swaping...and swap magic?
Steppenwolffan21 #5 Posted July 9, 2005 When you make copies of your games ( backups ) they don't have the boot information like geiuine games do, so you have to get a " Swap Disc " You put the disc in , and you get this little key thing, and you slide that between the disc tray and the system ( once you remove the disc tray cover ). It catches on a knob with ejects the CD, so you can play your back ups. I just bought one yesterday http://www.mod-chip.com/index-cart-us.php?...ct_ps2_main.htm. Look at that. By the way this is for the PS2 only. I hope this helped
Wntermute #6 Posted July 9, 2005 That seems like a lot of trouble for a few games. I'm aware of swap tricks but I figured he'd want the utility disc for the utilities. I just added a hard drive to my PS2 and bought this nifty program called HDAdvance. Much simpler than trying to play "beat the clock" with two CDs.
