AlexKIDD #1 Posted July 8, 2005 I've had two tvs i've used for gaming for awhile. One is a Magnavox from the mid 80's which I played my sms on as a kid. The other is a pretty new Sony flat-screen one(not HD,just a cheap flat one). I've always played my older(2600 through to snes) on the old tv including the turbo grafx. I hooked up my turbo to my new tv today, not expecting much, and it seems the games look and sound WAY better on this tv. Everything is much brighter and more detailed and I see colors that weren't there before and hear bits of music I couldn't hear before. I'd like to how this is possible considering it's still just hooked up with an RF switch? Also i'd figure i'd let everyone know in case they had their turbo hooked up to an old tv. sega saturn x #2 Posted July 8, 2005 Things get old and don't work the way the did before. But it could always just be the size of the tv as well. After playing my current gen games on a big screen i couldn't play them on a small tv anymore.
JB #3 Posted July 8, 2005 New TV is pr'ly just better than the old one. Better tube, better speakers, better tuner.
