Mindfield #1 Posted July 9, 2005 http://search.ebay.ca/_W0QQsassZyrhs The guy's got nearly a thousand Genesis games... and they're almost all sports. If he's lucky, he might get the start bid.

Mindfield #3 Posted July 9, 2005 The best part is the sheer number of pictures he took of the carts at various angles. He either things he's got an awesome oppotunity for someone and wants to make sure they get every angle on what they're buying, or he's hoping to overwhelm perfectly good common sense with image overload. hex65000 #5 Posted July 10, 2005 @txsizzler: Bwahaha! I tell you what, if you want to spend that much time cleaning carts that aren't worth the bother, have _I_ got a deal for you. [waits 10 secs . . . ] [ sip o' coffee . . . ] [ rebooting the matrix . . . ] Nevermind, the offer is over! Seriously though, that is a total pile of junk. the stripped carts and associated sleeves are more useful than the actual software inside. A frightful thought, but true. Hex. Room 34 #6 Posted July 10, 2005 The mystery of sports games continues... (That is, I have never understood their appeal in the FIRST place, and by the time of the 16-bits, they had become a yearly ritual, leaving each year's game utterly worthless by the time the next year rolls around.) Here's a handy guide... if a game has a year in the title, run away!

Room 34 #8 Posted July 10, 2005 An exception of note to this rule:TEMPEST 2000 889212[/snapback] I was going to clarify it as "a year that's likely to be within the lifespan of the system" but it didn't seem as pithy.
maibock #9 Posted July 10, 2005 Time for me to jump in and feebly try to defend sports games My whole Genny collection is pretty much sports games. I'm trying to aquire every sports game for each system I own except for the modern consoles. For me, there's just nothing better than a 16 bit or less sports title. They're a frickin blast to play! Really! I cannot stand watching real soocer or even basketball for that matter, but to play them in their various versions, is a fun, fun time.. sku_u #12 Posted July 10, 2005 What I don't get is the shipping. $40 to ship that many individual packages sounds like the seller will take a huge loss ultimately.
