for sale/trade atari 2600 a/v modded (gone)

Recommended Posts

** Gone! thanks! **

I just finished modding an extra 2600 4 switch I had laying around. I'm looking for a C64, C64 stuff, or just made me an offer. See the pictures of the actual game play.

Thanks

Update:

Crystal Castles. I couldn't get the white to show up, so is kinda grey. But the colors are nice (see the screen with the trees, now they're green)

Screen of Popeye. I like this screen a lot, the colors are super clear :)

Sorry for the big pictures.

No answer... up for grabs again...

LOL I don't care at all, I don't make any money off of the mod anyways, as I posed in that thread. After all, I did take pics of the mod that I did, so its no big deal. Hope it goes well for you :)

no, I use different resistors (trial and error) I started with beckson mod and moved from there. I couldn't made out your mod (picture too little)

Anyways, I would like to trade it more than selling it... so I'm not making any money neither.

Don't worry, give this resistor combination a try, I think you'll like it.

680ohm on pin 5

220Ohm on pin 7

1k Ohm on pin 8

Heh, you can share yours if you want.

sure, I don't care..

i used 1.5K ohm in pin 8 and 2 220ohm in pins 7 and 5

another combination is p5 22 ohm, p7 and p7 220 ohm

and another is and 220 ohm, 22 ohm and 1500 ohm

I messed around with it for like 3 days :P

Oh I know the feeling. I also went from ben's mod from there. I had a non working atari 5200 so i gutted it and robbed all the resistors from it, and did like 4-5 hrs at least of getting the colors just right.

one thing I did was too was to desolder the RF box...

back in the day (1998), I did a mod in an atari Jr. it was almost perfect, it used two 1K potentiometers, 1 22 ohm, and another resistor (it was grey) that I can't remember where it was connected, and the picture and brigthness was beautifull... I never saved the schematics and I sold the Jr... (I'm kicking myself for that) :(

I didn't desolder the rf box, i just cut the 5 pins going to the rf box. Same effect.

Kinda weird how you got the little bit of interference even after the a/v mod eh?

yeah! I was like... WTF? I just desolder it... (desolder pump, 7 bucks at RadioShack, works ok) :)

one thing I noticed in River Raid, the bridges, on mine 2600, looks like they are made out of wood, I get two different brown variations stagged, I'll try to get a picture today.
