Mindfield #1 Posted July 13, 2005 Gotta love this guy's approach to constructive feedback. He's just so erudite. Seems further down the list he actually found a spare energy molecule or two and typed several words, all at once, and they even said nice things. My respose to his feedback to me was "thanks." 'Cos, y'know ... I can play literati with the best of them.
sku_u #2 Posted July 13, 2005 At least he leaves feedback which is more than I can say of about 1/2s of Ebay users. A lot of times I just put thanks as my feedback. There's only so many ways you can say great transaction in the few characters Ebay's flawed feedback system uses.

I'd probably have twice the feedback I have if everyone left feedback. Just the same though -- I dunno, knock out a few canned phrases in Notepad and C&P whenever you leave feedback. I've had sellers of multiple items leave me the same feedback for all items I bought (and likewise I've done the same in the opposite situation) and that's fine; I don't expect someone to type out different things for each item. But ... y'know. "OK" is just kinda pointless. Is that "OK" as in "The item was okay, nothing special, whatever?" Or "The transaction was okay, blah blah?" Or "I can't be bothered but have a positive anyway?" Speaking of feedback I actually ran across a power seller with close to a million feedback rating -- and still at 100%! Either he's the most awesome eBay power seller in existence, or he's got some serious intimidation tactics. :-)
pinball22 #4 Posted July 13, 2005 Who was it? I didn't realize anyone was close to a million.
Mindfield #5 Posted July 13, 2005 (edited) Who was it? I didn't realize anyone was close to a million. 891051[/snapback] I should have copied it down, but I don't recall. I ran across him/them when doing a casual search (I think I was looking for DVDs). I do remember however that this guy got so much feedback that his feedback rating changed every ten or twenty seconds. Hendra #7 Posted July 13, 2005 (edited) I would love to do business with this guy and then leave the word OK :-) for his feedback . At least he left feedbacks at equal proportion with the one he received. He is waaaay much better than this guy. What a SELFISH and UNGRATEFUL Ebayer I granted his special request for shipping, I left feedback for him right after he paid. I wish I didn't leave feedback for him at all Edited July 13, 2005 by Hendra
yuppicide #8 Posted July 14, 2005 (edited) Look at the feedback this guy leaves: "Thanks for help, good communication, stays crunchy in milk! A+" -- item won was a filter for a digital camera. "Item was exactly as described, shipped super fast, tasted like chicken! A+" -- item won was a computer video card. "Fast ship, item as described, A+! Made my manhood grow 4 inches!" -- item won was a lens for a digital camera. Oh wait, that's me leaving the feedbacks. The guy that I bought the camera stuff off of leaves the same thing everytime: "thanks for your purchasing ,prompt payment !AAAAAAAAAA+++++++" Edited July 14, 2005 by yuppicide
