Text label colour variants

Seems like I keep running across text label colour variants. So far I've found these:

 

Bowling (Red & blue)

Flag Capture (Orange & green)

Football (Green & yellow)

Sky Diver (Blue & red)

Video Chess (Red & purple)

 

Were there any others I should know about? And was there a reason for the colour changes? Did one come before the other?

Brain Games is another. Seems lots of them have some subtle differences, be it copyrights or trademark additions. I had two versions of Street Racer numbered end label version, one with a variation in the color on the lines that outline the labels.

Is this yellow or Green, I can't tell? It's definitely different than the Red text in the database so it is another to add to the list.

That's the one I'm looking for. I think that's yellow. It does have greenish tint to it though.

There are quite a few and I think I have all of them AFAIK, though the Gold vs. Yellow is very debatable IMO.

I've got some commons, a few re-release labels, some miscellaneous variants, and a few manuals... not much. Are you looking for anything in particular?

I'd consider gold and yellow to be the same thing. It's more yellow to me -- perhaps metallic yellow, which is sorta goldish. Either way, it amounts to the same.

 

Seems like there are quite a few of them I'm missing. Now I'll have to go through my dupes and see if there's any variations I'm missing that I didn't notice the first time round.

Check what you have against the Giant List. It's pretty comprehensive, though a few are listed that do not exist and one or two are out there that are not listed.
