EB Games not having Nanostray?!?!?!

Why is EB Games not carrying Nanostray for Nintendo DS? None of them have it. I'm going to ask a friend tomorrow that works at one why.

Does anybody else know why?

I'm going to try media play and if they also don't have it i will ask them to order me a copy.

I bought a copy of Nanostray at Fry's last night. It was $29.99.

I asked about it at my EB on Friday - he told me that at that point the store workers didn't even know why they weren't getting it, and they had their district manager trying to get copies in because they have had so many requests.

My local EBgames had a copy of it last week (Winnipeg, Canada) so it is being carried by EBGames... perhaps the extremely limited release and the companies financial issues have more to do with it.

 

Apparently it's a limited release and if it sells well it will see more copies run. Then again this may be one of the most rare DS titles we'll see.

 

I may end up picking it up but with Meteos and Kirby, I'm busy enough for now.

Saturday I tried Toys R US (2 different stores), Walmart, Target, EB Games, Best

Buy and Gamestop... NONE of them had in the shops (any shops in the area, both

EB and GS checked all the local stores) so unless you are talking about Toy's R Us's

or Walmart's website, I dont think you will have much luck.

 

I finally ordered a copy online and Im still waiting for it to come.

i myself been having a hard time finding it locally. But like it was mentioned im sure it has something to do with the publishers finical issues. Which in that case i think im going to pick it up asap so i dont miss out on it. gotta wait till i get some more game shopping cash though i went over board last week ,and spent 90 bux at eb in about 6 games ,and a controller.

At Microplay stores in Canada they have several copies sitting on the shelf tonight. EB and WalMArt had none... it'll be touch and go with this one. Good luck to everyone searching for a copy.

I picked this game up yesterday at Fry's.

 

I must say that this game has alot of the same feel and music as the Iridion series.

The touch screen is used to change weapons. It appears that the developers of the series are hitting thier stride with this one. Although, there is nothing ground breaking in Nanostray, as far as shump's go, it is probably the best portable shump I've played so far.

 

Now if I could ever get used to the terrible ergonomics of the DS, I could play this one for more than 20 minutes at a time. I get hand craps (but... that is a different story)

Finally got a copy in the mail today.. I've only had a chance to play for a few minutes

here and there...so far I think it is pretty hard! I still havent really figured out when to switch weapons

and what weapons to use at different times, so I get killed ALOT (very frustrating) I

agree with the reviews that they should have added the ability to change weapons

with the L and R buttons as well as the touch screen, but I can see myself getting used

to it.

 

 

This is a hard game. Maybe I will feel differently after a while. The graphics are

well done, but it kinda seems to me that the playfield feels kind of small.
