PAL carts work fine on NTSC tele

That's correct you heard it. Once I hooked up my Verticle hold NTSC television to my NTSC Atari. I was able to play all of my PAL carts perfectly. (once the v-hold was adjusted) and the weird part is I didn't have to readjust it to play the NTSC games again. Why was that?
