Damn, that's an awesome price for a system with such limited distribution. Did you know they were selling LaserActive systems for $700 back when they were first released?

 

I don't know if you'll find any takers here, though. The LaserActive system doesn't have the same kind of appeal that other rare consoles like the Neo-Geo and the Adventurevision do, mostly because of the backward compatibility with the Genesis and Turbografx-16 and the lack of original software for the unit. Ebay is definitely the way to go to sell this... I'm certain you'll get a lot more money for it there.

Yeah I know, but I figured I'd let you guys check it out first.

 

This one has WAY less than I'm offering and it went for $270.

I guess I figured that I would be happy getting $200 for it and I would be happier if it went to someone here.

 

If there are no takers, I will put it on ebay next weekend.

 

I may be wrong, but I believe the retail for these was $1200, but it might have been $700. I know the sega and turbo graphx mods were like $200 on top of that.
