Atari Charles #1 Posted July 27, 2005 Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can download a Commodore 64 Emulator with Roms? Thanks
ZylonBane #2 Posted July 27, 2005 And I'm wondering what this has to do with the Atari 2600.
Uber Troll #3 Posted July 27, 2005 Maybe he wants to emulate the Commodore 64 on a 2600....That would be an impressive feat...

+SpiceWare #5 Posted July 27, 2005 (edited) I'm partial to VICE. It's availabe for a number of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, OS/2, BeOS and others. If you happen to get it, you can play my Alien Invaders by running the C= 128 emulator. Edited July 27, 2005 by SpiceWare
Atari Charles #6 Posted July 27, 2005 (edited) Thanks for the link. Of course the C=64 has nothing really to do with Atari, but it is still in the video game genre and is a pretty cool part of the 80's. Edited July 27, 2005 by Atari Charles
Blackjack #7 Posted July 29, 2005 AtariAge Forums > Gaming General > Emulation It doesn't need to be about Atari ..... I use VICE also.

This can be for anything as it's under emulation. Also, where can you get the games for vice Edited August 17, 2005 by Steppenwolffan21
Laner #9 Posted August 22, 2005 (edited) VICE or CCS64 are your best bets as far as emulators go. I prefer WinVICE as it uses the standard Windows interface. CCS64 is nice too, but the GUI is much clunkier. As far as disk images and the like go (I apologize up front if this is a no-no), try to track down the four-disc Gamebase 64 set... it has virtually every C64 game, emulator, SID file and much more. Try the newsgroups or your favorite P2P program/service. Edited August 22, 2005 by Laner
