Fining there just bring back many good old memorys of me going to toy stores like Toy-R-Us in the mid and late 80s^^

Holy shit, dude, you made out like a bandit -- $80 for all that? I'd have sold a kidney if it'd have given me enough to buy all that load. Thrifts and yard sales around here are barren -- I don't even bother.

Congrats on that haul -- incredible stuff there.

Congratulations, you've got an instant collection. I know you already had a collection, but now you've got double! I still can't get over you finding TurboGraphix stuff in the wild. I haven't seen any Turbo stuff for sale (other than the classic game dealer out at the flea market) in over a decade.

Being in that yard sale was like being Templeton The Rat from Charlotte's Web hoping around in joy "OH JOY ATARI AND NINTENDO!" :lust:

very nice!

wish my neighborhood put out more stuff like that and less old computer printers and ikea cast-offs. sometimes outside the city i can find great stuff but around here its all renters and grad students, the least gaming people around. every now and then i'll directly ask them if they have games and they always whip out some 7 year old PC flight sim or a copy of myst. i've learned, at least in my neighborhood, that the fancier the road sign the worse the stuff they have. if it looks like mom made the sign with a sharpie on the back of a cardboard box, awesome!

my meager haul after hitting 7 sales

- jet force gemni

- megaman X and megaman X2

- battletoads something or other

- mad catz xbox wheel set in box

about $20, passed on the SNES and N64 system sets.

Really? THey go on ebay alot for around $2. I have about 500 game mags. Honestly, you would be surprised how cheap people tend to get rid of them.

AtariBoy, did you manage to snag the first issue of NP?
