blaster master 2?

For the genny, is it any good? cause the one for playstation BLEW... and I have only played the NES one, but it is my favorite game..

Y'know, I hear a lot of people dog Blaster Master 2, but I didn't think it was an awful game myself. In fact, I was really impressed with the vibrant graphics... they really stand out on the Genesis. Perhaps the game itself isn't as good as the original, but it's a passable sequel.

Okay, it was a good game.

But as a Blaster Master sequel it sucked.

 

It was flat-out linear, with very little of the strategy that made the original so enjoyable.

The PS1 game I would have enjoyed had it not been for the absurdly long and often inexplicable load times.

...

That and I've always had problems with precision jumping in pseudo-3D games(add some LCD shutters and I'll consider it real 3D).
