Does redio shack stuff work for the NES?

My wife has her old NES but no power suply or RF swich. She is'nt really in to atari cuz she never had one as a kid but watchs me playing my atari and wish's she could play her NES. So do you guys know if redio shacks power suplys WILL WORK FOR THE nes? And do they have any kind of rf swich that will work for the NES? Or im i gonna have too go out and buy a NES?

By the apatdor from redio shack you mean that hooks to the tv from the NES im takeing it? What about the power suply?

no not the RF switch

 

you can get the power supply from radio shack, i know they sell universal power supplies

 

for the RF switches im not sure if they have them, if they dont have them, you could try a electronics store that sells video games and ask if they have a RF switch that will work for the old NES system (like Babbages, electronics boutique)

oh and if you have a genesis, SNES, jaguar,or a turbo grafx 16 system i think you could use those RF switches as well

I do have a genssis i didnt think of useing the RF swich from that for some reason thank you alot.I calld my local game store they have tones of NES systems for $25 but no extra parts

If it's a side loading NES, I think it has an AV jack, though as far as RF switches go, just check radio shack.

Yep i have an NES runnin offa a atari switchbox and a 9v 1300mA adaptor from radio shack its fine

i would think the universal adaptors would work

 

but is there a funcoland near where you live?

if so they have tons of PS for the NES

 

but if not look for a universal adaptor at radio shack it will work

Radio shack has a Nintemdo power adapter its just made for the NES works on nothing else so the box says. its AC to AC insted of DC? Anyway it shocks me they have something that on the box says Nintendo. So now my wifes NES is working great! Wish radio had power adapters that said ATARI oh well.
