Sully70 #1 Posted August 13, 2005 Modest purchase today of a loose Jaguar with 1 controller, hook-ups, and Zool 2 in box for $15.00. Average price, very nice to find a Jaguar in the wild(no pun). I also purchased a Lynx a few months back for under $5.00, but no games.
SteveW #2 Posted August 14, 2005 Congrats! The only Jaguar stuff I've found in a thrift store was a loose Jag gamepad and a boxed copy of Aliens Vs. Predator that absolutely reeked of cheap perfume. Apparently, someone spilled perfume on the box, and the stink won't go away.
jesusc #3 Posted August 14, 2005 Can never find anything in thrifts anymore, let alone stuff off the beaten path like Jaguar. Nice find!
+FujiSkunk #4 Posted August 14, 2005 I found a loose Jaguar console a while back, for $7 if I remember correctly. It's my back-up, now. It's out there (or at least it used to be).
+doctorclu #5 Posted August 22, 2005 I found about ten Jaguar controllers in their boxes for about $5 a piece. Found my JAM!!! (Composite to VGA box) for $2 at a thrift store. Jaguar w/ Alien vs. Predator in pawn shop... $55 in 1999. And while not thrift, it was amazing to find a new Jaguar in a Kaybee toystore in 1999 for $30. Last of three in regular stores in Dallas. Man- I drove all over DFW looking for a KBToys with the Jags. I gave up since I had one already, but $30 for a new one, it was worth the effort. I can still remember walking into KB at the Mall of America (Minneapolis) back at that time and they had 30+ boxed Jags stacked all around their main checkout counter, including a Jag running Cybermorph. Pretty cool to see back then!
