Track and Field - High jump

I've always struggled at this, as I've nver found the correct angles for the first jump and second bit where you roll over the bar. Can anyone give me tips on how to clear it? What angles should I be aiming for?

HEH I got one sits in my front room cocktail table Track & Field and I can never get past the javelan throw hard to hit that line and get a optimal angle grrrrr

 

so I havent seen the hammer throw yet

 

or the high jump :-)
