jstefans
Price Inflation! My collecting of commons has finally paid off! http://cgi.ebay.com/KABOOM-Atari-Video-gam...1QQcmdZViewItem Ok. I have a near-perfect E.T. cartridge for sale....we'll start the bidding at $15!
the 5th ghost
Kaboom! is a very popular game, so I can understand it going that high. Boxed copies can fetch up to $25 at times.
hookem
Isn't he losing money on $3.00 priority mail? $10.50 is still 1/3 of what it cost new, less if you adjust for 1982 dollars.
jstefans
Alright! Mr. Kaboom! avatar doesn't get a vote in this matter, just like no one can ask me how much Midnight Magic is worth, and no one can ask how much Van Halen babies are worth....or something. $25 for a boxed copy? Sealed? Seems high to me even if it's sealed but I guess I'll just say I hope they are worth that much. I can't go against my own hobby. Angel
Yeah i got a better lable then that for half that price ,it also came with other games too http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...AMEWN%3AIT&rd=
Mindfield
Technically that means we got it for a buck and change (after shipping). But I think that was a lucky find... a lot of those Activision labels are pretty nice, and finding nice Activision labels is a rarity in itself. maibock
I'd probably pay 20 bucks for a Kaboom, if say, I was on vacation with the family somewhere remote, and it rained the whole time, and there was a working VCS with no games.. yeah, I'd spend 20 bucks.. I'd love to get a hold of a mint boxed Kaboom! Although, let me check to see if I have one before I start hunting... !
adams_ale
I can understand(possibly) spending 20 bucks on a CIB Kaboom, however a loose copy is monetarily worthless to me. I have 6 copies of Kaboom and I would have plenty more, but I don't pay the 50c-1$ at the local flea markets to further the collection. Fun game so it is worth the money for the gameplay alone.
