Arcade supergun and JAMMA collecting

Does anyone here collect JAMMA arcade boards and use them in one of those portable Supergun machines? You know, the console sized devices that act as portable JAMMA arcade cabinets and let you play the games on your SCART compatible TV?

 

I was just interested to hear anyones story about this, as it sounds like such a great idea. Do the games really play just like the arcade? Is it easy to swap JAMMA boards in and out?

 

I would guess there wouldn't be that many people that do this but it's worth asking the question just in case

I have a SuperGun. The games play just like the arcade because they are the arcade games. The only difference would be A, the look, since you're not playing them on an arcade monitor, and B, the controls, because you're playing it on a custom controller instead of an arcade control panel. You also have to be careful about picking up JAMMA games that use vertical monitors, unless you have a television that you're willing to regularly rotate 90 degrees.

 

Swapping JAMMA boards out takes approximately five seconds, give or take. I don't collect JAMMA boards but like many other people who collect arcade games, I've ended up with a pile of them.
