Thrift store find!

yesterday I found copies of Bezerk, River Raid, Missle Command, Combat, Demon Attack and Star Voyager. they all had their original boxes in good condition. I forgot how cool the Imagic boxes are, all silver with the black sliding tray...I go a bunch of other games too, but they were just loose. All the boxed games have little number stickers on them like they are from a library or something. The carts themselves are all absolutely MINT! I payed a $1.50 for the boxed games and $.50 for the loose carts.

HEY GREAT FIND Gunstar. Where I live, it's one of the places where you find Combat's for $5.00, and if you ever see a boxed game then you would have to take out a mortgage on the house to buy it. If you keep an eye on E-Bay you can get good deals sometimes. The best deal I have gotten is a 4 switch with 19 boxed games and 11 controllers for a total of $34.00 with shipping. I just won a NTSC Gas Hog for $41.14 with shipping. Not too bad prices, but it's still not finding them in the wild. I've rambled enought. Great find , and happy hunting,

Thanks guys! Unfortunately, they are the only boxed games I have for the ol' 2600. To think that at one time I had about 150 carts with boxes (years ago as kid), and when my older brother got married I gave it to him and he promptly threw away all the boxes (unknown to me of course) and soon gave the whole system away (I could have killed him). I had collected them all in '84-'85 during the bargain bin years.
