Cracker Pet - what company is this?

I found this game while travelling around Australia last year. It is Crack Pots with the Activision logo removed, and a neat label.

 

Although I just put one copy up on eBay (shameless, I know), I was wondering if anyone could provide some history on this weird game.Cracker Pet

It's your typical Taiwanese pirate. I used to come across these in Holland quite regularly. Nice find, one of the cooler titles, but the "market" for loose pirates isn't as good as it used to be...

Last Saterday I found a Taiwan (v-shape) pirate in the wild, and I did't have it!

Made me realy, realy happy, Nowadays overhere in Amsterdam it's already special if you spot a Pac-man cart.

 

It was good to have that feeling again, of finding something yourself.

 

Anyway, gotta go, off to Ebay

@Marco: yeah I know. In an RGVC or ML auction in '96 this would be a far more uncommon item. (remember the "Pepper Auctions"?) Thanks for the vote of good luck, btw!
