Cassidy Nolen #1 Posted April 1, 2002 Just in case your tax return is burning a hole in you pocket. Its got a few days left, and no, its not mine. That one is not for sale Cassidy http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1342874060
Albert #2 Posted April 1, 2002 I don't see how someone can get away with calling this MINT when it clearly has several visible scratches on the label. Oh, that's right, it's eBay! ..Al
Cassidy Nolen #3 Posted April 1, 2002 Ok, Sorry about that. I was wrong. There are 2! Glib, CTCW, Tooth Protectors, protos a plenty, what the heck is going on? I cannot recall ever seeing quite the buffet of rare games on ebay. Wierd and bankrupting! Cassidy
Adrian M #4 Posted April 1, 2002 $415.00 with 7 days left????? I could easily afford it, but come on, that's just too much for a 2600 game. I won't be surprised to see this thing go for $600+ by the time it's through...

I'd consider paying that much for a boxed copy that's truly mint. It's distressing to see this Quadrun already at $415. And no, I don't have one yet. ..Al

The other Quadrun, which is only up to $202.50 as I write this, appears to be in much better shape: "QUADRUN" -Atari 2600- Excellent Condition ..Al
NE146 #7 Posted April 1, 2002 we should all just bid it up to some ridiculous amount

If it were complete and boxed (preferably sealed), then I would CONSIDER bidding. As it stands now, both have some minor cosmetic damage (scratches on the label) so neither could truly be considered a mint condition copy.

I don't think the second auction (the one with the lower going price) is in bad shape. Scratches on those silver labels are easily picked up and generally look exaggerated in photos. However, the first auction definitely has some deeper scratches, and even a small tear on the label. Also, the second isn't described as being mint, just in "excellent" condition. It probably looks great in person. ..Al
dwh #11 Posted April 1, 2002 Wow; two Quadrun auctions in one week!Too bad I can not afford either one...The only way I will ever get this one is to find it in the wild from someone who does not know what they have.It will be fun to watch how expensive the auctions will get though. MattG/Snyper2099 #12 Posted April 2, 2002 Screw the wild on this one, i hope to trade for a quadrun someday. That's prolly the only way i'll ever get one. But wow, so many great items on ebay this week, it's nearly unbelieveale! Unless I find a collector willing to give one away for $100. kudos, mattg
slapdash #13 Posted April 2, 2002 I can't believe I never bought that $20 Quadrun a few years back... If I didn't have a copy of it (sold as a proto during the crash; I didn't know any better) I WOULD have. *sigh*
