READY To Order Play-Yan! NEED HELP!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys I want to order the play-yan unit for the SP/DS, Im fully aware that Liksang sell it for 79.99 and PlayAsia for 69.99!! BUT Nintendo of Japan has it for 5000 YEN which converts to 45.5270 USD which is waaaaaaaaay cheaper than what these dudes offer it for!!

Who wants in for a group buy and I will need someone who can "FLUENTLY" read that Nintendo of Japan website with no problems!!

Thanks Again

Thanks to Tims links I decided to go for the Play-Yan Micro instead of the Original Play-Yan unit!

I have Pre-Ordered it at PLAY-ASIA.COM for 69.99, it is due to ship on September 13, 2005 and arrive in 7 to 14 days!!

I'm not too hot on the Play-Yan but would love a Famicom Micro at a better price if others are doing a group buy. EBGames has pushed back their distribution date of the US version. :|

This guy seems to be pretty happy with his Play-Yan, although it's important to note that he's running his movies on the tiny Game Boy Micro screen. Any imperfections in the video quality would be hard to discern on a screen the size of a Club cracker.

ITS HERE!! :D

Yesturday the Play-Yan Micro arrived...

Nice small white box with non-readable japanese writing and a SWEET 2005 copyright!!

as for the unit it looks to fragile to me, as for the GI0 (graphic interface) its pretty simple!! though the controls are sluggish to change tracks (ON A SP) the SP doesnt drive to well with its speakers but once pluged in to headphones or extereor speakers the Play Yan becomes a monster, with great clean crisp quality for music!!

For 69.99 its a tad expensive but a nice addition if you dont want to go the IPOD way!!
