Best Game Never

I was watching Batman...the movie the other day and started to imagine how it might make a cool 2600 game. That got me thinking....what would be my little list of Atari games I would have liked to have seen.

 

Heres my list of never made games that I would have liked to have seen.

 

1. Batman

2. Scrabble

3. Sailing

4. Close Encounters of the Third Kind

5. Battleship

6. Breakout 3....with multiple walls

7. Rodeo

 

Anybody else got any good ones?

A good Batman game? Has there ever, in the history of interactive videogames, been a good Batman game? They usually rate between okay to absolute garbage. I wonder if the simplicity of the 2600 might lend itself to a good Batman title, like the Spiderman 2600 game.

Well the 2600 did get Glib which is kinda like Scrabble. Rodeo was renamed Stampede (unless you're talking about the SNK arcade game). For some reason I thought that some complany was doing a version of Battleship, but it was canceled. I'll have to dig through my notes, but I'm pretty sure it was considered by someone at some point.
