Mindfield #1 Posted September 11, 2005 http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...mMakeTrack=true I TRIED TO TEST IT IN MY CONSOLE (2600) BUT IT DIDN'T WANT TO START UP, IT'S POSSIBLY A NTSC VERSION?? Which would depend on what he means by "didn't want to start up." If it's truly NTSC and it works it'd be a nice CIB snag (even if the box is a bit crap)
holygrailvideogames.com #2 Posted September 11, 2005 I have never owned a Bomb game but I have heard from several people that a lot of these no longer work. I wouldn't be surprised if it is broken.
video game addict #3 Posted September 11, 2005 But what are the odds of finding an NTSC Bomb cart in Australia?
Mindfield #4 Posted September 11, 2005 (edited) Yeah, that's why I was suspicious of it too. The way he described it it sounded like it didn't work at all, but stating that maybe it's because it's NTSC made me wonder if it did come up and just rolled (or whatever it is NTSC carts do on PAL televisions that can't sync) Mind you, deathtrapomegranate had a Miner 2049er Vol. II that he couldn't get to turn on for love nor money (totally blank screen). He offered to send it to me free -- and lo and behold it worked first try on my NTSC machine. (Yes, it's an NTSC cart, And thank you again DTP ) So ... stranger things have happened. Ken Meoni #5 Posted September 11, 2005 From what I understand, an NTSC cart will just show a black screen on a PAL tv. At least that's what an Australian friend told me. I guess if someone is interested in this, they may ask what happens on the screen of the tv.
Dino #6 Posted September 11, 2005 Actually, the screen rolls on Australian TVs when you play an NTSC game in much the wsame way as PAL games on an NTSC TV. A LOT of BOMB games no longer work so i'd say this one is no different. The chancews of finding an NTSC wall defender in Australia is next to nothing. If you are going to ask him a question, i'd ask about the QC sticker on the box and game.
Mindfield #7 Posted September 11, 2005 I notice he had two-part question, and he only answer the part about shipping. Sounds like he didn't want to admit that it's dead.
