2600 Comp Pro & Tac-2

Recommended Posts

Hey I've been wanting to try out a 2600 Competition Pro, I see them on ebay from time to time, but never individually or in small enough lot to make it worth it. I guess these are not very common here is the US. But I want one if anybody has a spare in good working condition I would be interested. :D

Also my Tac2 is acting up, and I'd like to pick up another again in good working order, I lack any such abilities to fix these..

How's it acting up? Some things are a really easy fix while others are unfixable.

I don't want to hype up the comp pro, but I only have 1 of those and I've been collecting controllers more actively than most. See if you can track down a zip stik. They're similar to the comp pro, but have square buttons instead of round ones and are more easy to come by.

It stopped going left. Well sometimes it'll work, but needs to be hit hard left to respond, and then sometimes still nothing.. I haven't tried opening up or cleaning though, maybe I will eventually. I just went back to a stock stick. But I like the fire button on the right, and even turning the cx40 sideways & remapping the buttons inside does not feel well to me as the cable gets in my way while I'm holding.

I've got high score stick coming soon, I hope to try it out since button is on the right with it already. Assuming it works..

I accidently BINed a 2600 Comp Pro last year thinking it was a 5200 Comp Pro. I don't think I ever re-auctioned it. I believe it's in storage with the majority of my 2600 hardware. I have no attachment to it. I can't get used to anything besides CX-40s. If you want it for sure, I can go down and see if it's there.
