Got a classic Toshiba Satellite Pro 410CDT laptop available. It's a pretty old beast, but top end for its time. Speds:

ESS688 on-board audio (SB Pro compatible w/ OPL3 support)

Works great over a network as a server, or to use for E-Mail, web browsing, classic games, etc. Runs Win98SE very well; I even installed Firefox on it, but it's a little slower than IE when it comes to load times. (Seems to require more memory than IE)

 

Or you could install a nice Linux distro.

 

 

The laptop is in perfect working order except for a couple of stuck pixels in the dislpay mentioned above (hardly noticeable). There are no issues with the hard drive, CD or floppy, the battery still holds a very good charge. I ran this on my network with no problems. There is a small crack in a bit of the moulding below the keyboard on the left hand side, but it doesn't affect anything. (It's been glued so it's stable)
