shadow460 #79 Posted October 4, 2005 Hmmm, if there are games that don't work with the expansion pak, maybe I ought to invest in another Jumper Pak. I don't have the old one anymore...

You probably will have to buy another N64 to get one. There are probably junk N64's out there you can pick up cheap for just the Jump Pak though. I never use the site, so my knowledge is quite limited.
shadow460 #84 Posted October 26, 2005 Hey, someone mentioned the direct to Blockbuster release Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine. How rare is it? I just bought it today for $18.
Zoop #85 Posted October 26, 2005 i heard that indiana jones game was a pretty good 64 title. Is it worth hunting down a copy of?
Dones #86 Posted October 26, 2005 I played it when at the time it was released and can say it was a pretty good game. The closest the N64 had to a Tomb Raider. Just like Lara you had to do a lot of exploring. There was a whip mechanic in there too. Many puzzles made good use of the whip. Also just like Lara games it was easy to get stuck and your progress halted until you figured out what you missed. I am not sure but I think it supported a high res mode if you had extra ram on your unit. Graphics looked really sharp (for N64 standards). Hey, someone mentioned the direct to Blockbuster release Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine. How rare is it? From what I know the game was a direct to Blockbuster release, so there were not that many manufactured. Probably at the request of customers, Lucasarts eventually offered it as a direct buy through their website. From word of mouth I can tell you the game is rare. Zoop #87 Posted October 26, 2005 how much does it usually go for? I actually never played Tomb Raider
keilbaca #88 Posted October 26, 2005 The N64 is one of my favorite systems, although I just have Goldeneye right now. Upon playing other games and goldeneye, I noticed in certain parts, it runs at the full 30+ Frames per second, but when say in multiplayer, it runs a steady 20FPS maybe lower. So, I'm going to overclock it soon, as soon as I get ahold of a security bit to open it up.
shadow460 #89 Posted October 27, 2005 I think Indiana Jones should go for around $20 loose, and $30 CIB. That's just compared to other hard to find titles I've looked at, though. Overclock a Nintendo 64? What, 95MHz and 8MB of RAM doesn't let you get owned fast enough by the Golden Gun? It'll speed up the time counter in Goldeneye, I bet. Once you overclock it, delete your save file and then tell us how many tries it takes you to get the invincibility cheat again. I tried off and on for seven years to get that one. I came close enough times that I thought I should have gotten it, so I finally used a controller code to get it. Yep, Goldeneye has controller codes for infinte ammo, invincibility, additional multiplayer characters, and a couple of other things. The multiplayer code was just a series of commands one at a time, like A, L, C Left, etc. The other codes require you to press and hold either L, R, or the + pad, then press one of the C buttons. They consist of a series of commands like this.
