NightSprinter #1 Posted September 24, 2005 Just curious, but does anyone know how to make a dual Trak-Ball setup work on a PC? It's a curiosity of mine as I would like to see Marble Madness work in MAME like it originally does in the arcade. Mainly because of the fact it isn't the same with a standard mouse or even my Logitech Marble Mouse. I would appreciate any help on this.
pmpddytim #2 Posted September 24, 2005 Shouldn't be a problem. If you build your own controller using somthing like the I-Pac 2 the software that comes with it lets you configure the controls to your hearts content. If you are really into mame you should build your own arcade controlls anyways so have fun! Heres an example I found with a quick google search:http://www.retroblast.com/archives/a-200406.html Scroll down to the date of : 6/19/04 -Tim
NightSprinter #3 Posted September 24, 2005 Sadly, Slik-Stik's website does not have the Duo available anymore. Also, I.. um.. don't have any experience in building this kinda stuff right now (or have the money).. heh..
pmpddytim #4 Posted September 24, 2005 Building'em is actualy pretty easy.As for money...start saving! And if you don't want to build your own I'm sure you can find someone to build one for you. For the right price that is.
NightSprinter #5 Posted September 29, 2005 *chuckles* I'm sure I could. The problem is (asides from me not being on the forums as often as I'd like due to college, but whatcha gonna do?) the support in MAME since the Analog+ version isn't up to date with the current one. What other versions of MAME outside of the *NIX versions support multiple mice/trackballs?
