Impossible games

Most games can either be won, or you can figure out how to play them at their highest speed and play them to their maximum score or however long your endurance allows you. ARe there any games that are impossible?

 

I'll start the list. I think Towering Inferno is impossible. What do you think?

Why do you say Towering Inferno is impossible? I think its very playable and great fun. I can usually clear around 4 or 5 buildings???

 

You want impossible, play Jr Pac-man. or Gravitar.

Gravitar is definately one I think is unbeatable. It's one of my favorite games and I've played the hell out of it, yet I've only recently made it to the second galaxy (out of four). I can only imagine how hard it will be when the planets are invisible.

 

Solaris is another toughie. It's another one I play very frequently, yet even with a walk-through, I can only make it about halfway. And the fact that I can only make it through the easy half scares me.

Gravitar is definitely a tough one. I've never been able to get too far on it. I've also always had a tough time with James Bond 007. I love the game, but it always seems to get the best of me.

While I was quite good at gaming, I always lost at the meteroid showers in the higher levels of Cosmic Ark. Even cheating with some hardware didn't help, because the reaction time of that became to slow too.

 

I never saw all creatures before emulation and hacking the game made it possible.
