Turning Off Automatic Payment to EBAY?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how to turn off automatic seller fee payments to ebay? It is setup to charge my CC and now they are charging me weird amounts that do not match my invoice, even after I manually paid my invoice via paypal.

I've tried their support email but I just keep getting errors.

I cannot figure out how to turn this automatic payment off. :?

Thanks in advance.

They may not let you disable the credit card if you have a balance due. Only guessing here, but I know I have my checking account set up with auto payments, I do check it every month to see what gets charged haven't had any problems before.

One thing that does happen sometimes credits post after an invoice has been sent, and the actual bill may go down in price sowhat. They usually email the invoice to me 3 weeks before they take the money out of my account. So if you get a bill via email, then have a couple credits come back your way (refund on non-paying bidders or refund from relisted auctions, or refunds from reserve price met) then maybe a bill has been sent, but then it goes down before they actually charge..

Also I think for you to be a seller you must have a credit card on file, or maybe it depends on your email on file. I use hotmail so I had to keep a CC on file. As a buyer account with a real email address I don't think a CC is required, but if you are a registered Seller, then you might have to keep it there. Maybe you can change the billing source to a checking account temporarily & then delete it? Keeping the credit card on file. That my reset auto payments without removing the CC they have on file?
