Good for him he sold it on eBay. Gamers would have given him a buck fifty in store credit (no I'm not exaggerating).

I'm not surprised. Most game stores will give you jack and then turn around and resell the stuff at a thousand percent margin or more. That's one of the reasons I hate buying used games at chains like that -- 'cos I know that they got it absurdly cheap despite the $30 price tag.

 

I hate to say it, but eBay's better than that; at least then the market drives the price. (Except when you see those idiots with the $15 Pac Mans and $100 broken vaders...)
