joeybastard #1 Posted October 7, 2005 http://www.macworld.com/news/2005/10/07/psp/index.php Better be careful what you're installing on your PSP. Apparently this will make your PSP totally useless.

This is really old news in the PSP scene and someone has already written a program to scan PSP executables for possible write-access to the flash. 3.) Today's news media is f*cking stupid. Just thought I should point out that you listed 3) twice R. Long night of coding fry your brain again, or was it a long night of partying? Anyway I totally agree with #1 and #4 but I haven't been keeping up with the news so #3 (the first one anyway) is a revelation to me. Where do I get the program to scan PSP executables? So far I've only been using an old xExploit to load emulators but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Ummmm, it IS a Trojan. Trojans are a subclass of malware. A trojan is software that convinces you to run it by claiming to be something else, and that something else is a bad something else. Malware is a generic term that also includes viruses, worms, and spyware. You've heard of the Trojan Horse, right? Oh, and by the way...
Shannon #7 Posted October 10, 2005 That reminds me.. There is a new version of a C64 emulator with sound out that gets flagged by the new "trojan detector". Anyways... I've yet to try it, but it is supposed to be pretty good.
