Space Invaders Variants

Here's another oddball for the peanut gallery. I was aware of four cart variants from Atari (Text, black picture, Silver label, and red label); I just blundered across a fifth one. It looks a lot like the Silver label version but the end label is blue like the black picture label version and it is an open-back version like the red labels are.

 

Not expecting anything 'rare and valuable' here, but it was something odd and I wanted to see if you guys could tell me more about what I found.

There are more than that. I have eight Atari variants & three from Sears, and I still lack one or two IIRC.

Ya, alot of Space Invaders carts got the "Mix & Match" label technique from Atari.

I wasn't aware that they would mix-n-match labels like that. Very odd. Sorry Crunchy, I was specifically looking at the Atari Versions. I know Sears did at least two versions is the third version just the text label with a different part number on it?

 

If anyone cares, I'll generate some photos. <shrug>

Yeah, that's what it is. The "partnership" text is in 1 line on one version & 2 lines on the other.
