Won this in an auction the other day - Pac-Man with white end label text.

Looks like it could be just faded.

Well, I thought that at first, but the black on the label is still shiny and very dark black. Any fading should've faded the black as well as the yellow I would think.

Looks like a standard Pac-Man to me.

One of my Pac-Mans looks the same way... just the end label text is white, rather than yellow. I just chalked it up to fading.

I think they are faded, well with Pac-man above I though so as the end lable was pretty bad shape already. But maybe they are just print errors.

You could easily duplicate that effect be storing Pacman in a box face up with a bunch of other carts so that the main labels are not exposed and keep them in a sore window. There's a game store in the city that had an entire box of carts that looked like that because they were set up as part of a window display.

It could be a production error or alternate version, like the green end label Video Olympics, pink Combat, white Sky Diver and so many others. But based on the overall appearance of this cart, I vote for sun fade.
