Trade-N-Games #1 Posted October 19, 2005 I have not sold much on Ebay in the last year since I would rather sell at shows and my store but I decided to list a few things over a few weeks. Now my question to you who sell on Ebay are you getting alot of bidders from Italy? I have had a few questions for almost every auction from Italy. And does anyone see any problems with it like scams?

I have had a few questions for almost every auction from Italy. And does anyone see any problems with it like scams? 950657[/snapback] I have noticed the same thing and found the following problems 1) have had buyers who do not speak english. One item did not arrive and the buyer did not speak english causing major problem when trying to get him to send me a form for my insurance carrier 2) Check the allowable items that can be sent to Italy they have a clause about no games can be sent unless they are made of wood, I am sure this is not for Video Games but it only takes one custom offical to cause a Problem. 3)Italy has the worst mail system. if you search there are many horror storys about this. Also they have more then one type of mail carrier one for letters and another for parcels 4)You cant send items Letter post if they are over a certain value cant remember the amount but its not much (I always declare low so I have not had a problem) I am seriously considering not selling to ITALY just not worth the problems and worries
deathtrappomegranate #3 Posted October 19, 2005 I've sold to Italians a couple of times without hassles. Of course it's easier from inside the EU.
Ken Meoni #4 Posted October 19, 2005 I have had alot of Italian bidders and winners. No problems here. They are very nice to deal with and I have never had a claim where they claim the item hasn't arrived. So, as far as I am concerned, you should not worry.
