For anyone buying games from longtimedeadcards...

Recommended Posts

This seller recently had a bunch of nice boxed 2600 games up, of which I partook of a few. My standard "request a total" message generally requests that boxed items be shipped in a box. He sent me an invoice before I could do so -- and his shipping was very reasonable (to his credit) so I paid, afterwards reminding him to ship in a box.

Good thing, too. He was going to use a bubble envelope ("to keep shipping costs down") and has requested an additional $2 for a box -- $3 if I want it insured. Not that I have a huge complaint about that -- boxes, if you get them at the post office or whatever, do cost money. I'd prefer that he use a free recycled box or something, but whatever. I did however object to the entire idea that he'd even consider using a bubble envelope for boxed games in the first place.

So, if anyone here has won games from him ask for a box!

UPDATE -- okay, I recant what I just said. Turns out he puts the games in those free priority boxes, then puts the priority box in a bubble envelope.

Sneaky way of using priority boxes, but -- what the hell, if it works I'm down.
